Thou Art... asks the question, "Can a work of Art stand alone without us having any knowledge of the artist that created it?"

The Plot:

Shakespeare works in his attic, when to his chagrin his Muse arrives and demands he tell the 'true' story of his life. "Why?" Will demands. "Because they're going to say you didn't write them," she responds.​ The only way for Will to prove he wrote the plays is to reveal to us what it cost him personally to write them.
